It all started with fun and games, really! Some friends showed us some freeze dried candy and we were hooked! We starting experimenting with all kinds of foods and treats. It wasn’t long until we realized that we were onto something big. We found that freeze drying our goods meant they could sit on our shelf for up to 25 years and be as fresh, and as nourishing, as the day that we dried them, while other preservation methods have a shorter shelf life and keep less of the nutrients intact. Canning, and other methods, use heat that change the taste, color, and texture of foods. That’s not the case with our goods! The sky's the limit when it comes to our delicious treats. You can create whole meals, or enjoy snacks on the go, and never worry about your whole foods spoiling again. Friends and family loved what we were creating and soon everyone wanted the local farmers’ market freeze dried goodies.

We source the best local ingredients we can find to create delicious food and treats. Freeze drying has become a passion for us here in Western North Carolina. The unique textures that come with freeze drying have inspired us to experiment with flavors and combos and finding new and exciting options for everyone.
